Turkish vocabulary in 30 days: a plan with review and practice
A month can help you build a habit, cover useful topics and notice words entering your speech. This plan does not promise a level or fixed word count: progress depends on time, starting knowledge and practice.
How to use the plan
Study for 20–30 minutes daily, or split the work into two shorter sessions. Keep new sets small and reserve time for previous words. After a missed day, resume where you stopped rather than doubling the workload.
Week 1: a base for first sentences
Cover greetings, people, places, questions, numbers and time. Each day choose 6–8 words, one model and one personal sentence. Finish the week with the practice exercises.
Week 2: everyday situations
Work on home, food, shopping and travel. Review the first week’s meanings alongside new vocabulary. Twice this week, act out a two-turn exchange: a question and an answer.
Week 3: actions and connectors
Add common verbs, time expressions and connectors. Give each verb a short checked model rather than learning it alone. Revisit earlier mistakes.
Week 4: use and review
Choose one situation each day and say or write 3–5 simple sentences. Compare your first and final tasks: are you responding more easily without translating a script? Keep difficult words in regular review.
One session at a glance
- 5 minutes: review difficult cards.
- 10 minutes: study a new thematic set with examples.
- 5 minutes: hide the notes and recall.
- 5 minutes: create a personal sentence.

Common questions
How many words will I know after 30 days?
There is no honest universal count. What matters is how many you can recall and use in new sentences.
What if the plan is too fast?
Reduce new words while retaining review and a short practical task.
Should I take the test every day?
No. A score does not replace practice. Less frequent checks in the same mode and conditions are more useful.
